Orange cake
Ingredients
All purpose flour(maida)- 3/4 cup
Sugar -1/2 cup
Milk -1/4 cup
Egg -1
Butter -40g
Orange juice -2 Tsp
Baking powder-1 tsp
Milk powder-1 Tsp
Orange zest -1/2 tsp
Vanilla essence- 1tsp
Method
🔸️Heat milk with butter and orange zest( do not boil)
🔸️line a baking pan with butter paper
🔸️Beat egg and sugar together till fluffy
🔸️Add vanilla essence and orange juice and mix thoroughly
🔸️Add milk powder, baking powder and all purpose flour and the milk mixture and mix till it is well combined..Do not over beat..the batter is not very thick...
🔸️Pour in to a baking tray
➡️ Preheat the oven at 180°c for 10 min
➡️ Bake the cake at 180°C for 30 minutes
( adjust the timing according to your oven)
Allow the cake to cool down and then cut and serve
