Sizzler pav bhaji


Ingredients 


Pav bun- 3

Potato- 1

Carrot-1

Green peas-100g

Onion -1 finely chopped

Tomato-1 finely chopped

Capsicum-1/2 finely chopped

Ginger - garlic paste -1 Tsp

Cumin seeds-1 tsp

Kashmiri chilli powder -1 Tsp

Pav bhaji masala -1Tsp

Butter

Coriander leaves 

Oil

Salt


Method

Boil the vegetables with salt, cook  until soft. Use a masher to mash them.

Heat oil in a pan, Crackle the  cumin seeds. Saute the sliced onions until slightly brown.

Add chopped  tomatoes, finely chopped capsicum, ginger - garlic paste and saute till soft.

Add Kashmiri chilli powder,  pavbhaji masala and cook them till the raw smell goes away. 
Add the mashed vegetables.

Add butter and blend it well. Use hot  water to adjust the consistency of gravy . Simmer the bhaji until the flavours are all absorbed by the veggies. It should simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.  
Garnish with coriander leaves.

Toasting the Pav:
Cut the pav bun in to pieces 
Melt butter in a pan on low flame. Add Kashmiri chilli powder, pav bhaji masala.  
Toast  the bun pieces till the masala is well coated on them.


Serving on a Sizzler PLate:
Heat the sizzler plate, spoon the bhaji on one side. Place the well browned bun pieces on the side  and top it with french fries.

"Pav bhaji Sizzlers"  is ready to be served.
