Tiramisu
Ingredients:
ladyfinger biscuit- 1 packet
coffee powder - 2 tsp
mascarpone cheese - 100 g
egg yolk -5
whipping cream - 200ml
cocoa powder for dusting
powdered sugar - 1//2 cup
vanilla essence - 2 drops
Method :
First crack egg yolks to a bowl and mix powdered sugar to it and cook it over a double boiler , till it becomes slightly thick and then cool it.. to this egg mixture add mascarpone cheese and 2 drops of vanilla essence and mix thoroughly....whip whipping cream in a separate bowl till it becomes stiff and add 3/4 of this to the mascarpone mixture and mix nicely
Make coffee mixture by boiling 1/2 cup of water with 2 tsp of coffee powder
Take a square dish.. first dip the ladyfinger biscuit in the coffee mixture and layer it in the dish, when one layer is done , spread the mascarpone mixture over it evenly and the again layer the ladyfinger biscuit layer and again the mascarpone mixture.. level it with a spatula and then pipe the whipping cream over it which we have kept aside...finally dust the cocoa powder over this and allow to set in refrigerator for 4 hours and then serve it
