Butter chicken (video below)





Ingredients 

Chicken (300 g)
yoghurt 
Onion -2
Tomato-2
Ginger 
Garlic
Coriander leaves
Kasurimethi leaves -1/2 tsp
Tomato sauce - 1Tsp
Garam masala -1/2 tsp
Fresh cream -1 Tsp
Cashew -8 no
Oil 
Butter
Salt


Method

  • Marinate chicken with chilli powder (1 Tsp), ginger - garlic (1Tsp), yoghurt (1 .5 Tsp) and salt
  • Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the chicken pieces.
  • Heat oil and some butter  in another pan and saute onion , tomato, ginger- garlic,cashew and coriander leaves..when done add chilli powder and mix thoroughly and cook for another 5 min..let it cool and grind to a smooth paste.
  • Heat some butter in the same pan and pour the grinded paste ..mix thoroughly and add tomato sauce, kasurimethi,  garam masala and fresh cream ..then add the fried chicken pieces to it and cook it for another 5 minutes with lid closed..add hot water to get the desired consistency to gravy..
  • Garnish with fresh cream and coriander leaves....
